4 Ways to help Lights, Camera, Auction! for Under $25!

Next week, our newsletter will be sent out with a lot of information on how to get involved. In the mean time, we are coordinating the donation effort and we need some help. Here are 4 ways that you can make a difference with little effort:

"Mr. Mount Prospect" Jim Regan to donate $200 for every home bought or sold through his business

Mount Prospect RE/MAX real estate agent Jim Regan (aka "Mr. Mount Prospect") announced a special $200 gifting program effective today.

In Memory of Bob Ferguson

The family requests that donations in the memory of Bob Feguson, husband of Arlyle Ferguson, be made out to the District 57 Education Foundation. Bob was the former Principal of Central School, Lions Park School, Busse School and Westbrook School.  He also donated countless hours to helping District 57.  As a long-time supporter of the children of District 57, these contributions will live on in the support of our children and their learning. All donations will be acknowledged, and 100% of all donations will go directly to benefit the students of School District 57.

Fall Grants Awarded

The District 57 Education Foundation funded 11 grants totaling over $11,000 today, benefiting students at Westbrook, Fairview, Lions Park and Lincoln.

2009 Golf and Dinner Classic Title Sponsor - Bosch!

The District 57 Education Foundation is very pleased to announce our title sponsor for this year's Golf and Dinner Classic - BoschBosch has been an extremely strong supporter of our District for many years.  Their contributions have allowed the Foundation to complete many large projects in District 57 including the Fitness Center at Lincoln Middle School and the LRC at Westbrook.  Filling the Title Sponsor slot with such a strong supporter of our School District sets the stage for a very successsful event.  Please consider joing Bosch in supporting our kids by attending our Golf and Dinner Classic.  Details and online registration are available here!

2009 Golf and Dinner Classic - Don't have a foursome for golf?

If you don't have a foursome for golf don't worry about it - we will take care of it.  Several people have already signed up as either a single or a twosome and we are sure they would be happy to have you on their team.  Worried about your game? Don't worry!  While we can't fix your swing or make you a scratch golfer this event is a scramble (click here to find out exactly what a scramble is) and just a single putt may be all your team needs to win the tournament.  If that doesn't work, just be the one that frequently finds the beverage cart and every other golfer in your foursome will be your close friend. 2009 Hole In One Prize Package - $25,000!
