Thanks to all that have submitted grants for Fall 2009.  Here are a couple of things that you should regarding your submitted grants:

The District 57 Education Foundation is very pleased to announce our title sponsor for this year's Golf and Dinner Classic - Bosch.  Bosch has been an extremely strong supporter of our District for many years.  Their contributions have allowed the Foundation to complete many large projects in District 57 including the Fitness Center at Lincoln Middle School and the LRC at Westbrook.  Filling the Title Sponsor slot with such a strong supporter of our School District sets the stage for a very successsful event.  Please consider joing Bosch in supporting our kids by attending our Golf and Dinner Classic.  Details and online registration are available here!

If you don't have a foursome for golf don't worry about it - we will take care of it.  Several people have already signed up as either a single or a twosome and we are sure they would be happy to have you on their team.  Worried about your game? Don't worry!  While we can't fix your swing or make you a scratch golfer this event is a scramble (click here to find out exactly what a scramble is) and just a single putt may be all your team needs to win the tournament.  If that doesn't work, just be the one that frequently finds the beverage cart and every other golfer in your foursome will be your close friend. Thinking about playing the our 2009 Golf and Dinner Classic?  How about a chance at winning $25,000?  The District 57 Education Foundation is very excited to announce the Hole In One Prize packages for this year's event.  The Grand Prize is $25,000 for a hole-in-one on the par 3 17th hole at Old Orchard Country Club.  Three other par 3 holes will also have Hole In One Prizes including a Set of Callaway Big Bertha Irons, a Sharp LCD Television and a Round trip Domestic Airfare for Two.  Don't delay - Sign up now!

The District 57 Education Foundation is very happy to be able to provide District 57 Staff Members with a reduced registration fee for the Dinner only option at the 2009 Golf and Dinner Classic!

Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate today and the Back to School Pool Party had to be rescheduled to Sunday August 23rd from 7 to 9pm.

The District 57 Education Foundation is extending its early registration discount for the Golf and Dinner Classic on Friday September 25th until September 12th!  It's the end of summer and everyone is busy getting ready for school and grabbing some much needed and well deserved vacation time.  The Foundation is hoping that this extension will allow everyone to take advantage of the discount.  This year's event will be hosted at Old Orchard Country Club and will feature an 18 hole shotgun start scramble format tournament.  The registration fee for golfers is $150 per golfer ($135 until August 18th).  A dinner only option is also available for non-golfers for $50 per guest ($45 until August 18th).

Please save the date and plan join us for the 2009 Fall Golf and Dinner Classic to be held on Friday, September 25th 2009 at the Old Orchard Country Club.  This years event will feature an 18 hole scramble format with a shotgun start.  We are expecting a large turnout for an entire day of fun, prizes and competition.

Many Education Foundation board members and other volunteers worked hard for several months to make the spring fund-raiser such a fun and successful evening.
